Star Wars Collectables.

 


Star Wars collectables come in all shapes and sizes. There are the easy to find and the really rare, following are just a few of the more unusual collectables to be found in Australia.

 

 

Star Wars Tombolla Eggs -- Chocolate eggs with little surprises inside have been all the rage for a long time now, and are a source of much delight to the people that enjoy them. Now we have a Star Wars version, wrapped in Star Wars foil this chocolate covered egg comes with a small cylinder inside it. The cylinder hold one of several different surprises. From Jig Saw puzzles to small models of ships and vehicles and even some of your favorite Star Wars characters. Eat the egg and enjoy the surprise inside. Available from Target & K Mart.

 

Star Wars Lolly tin -- Small lolly (candy) tins complete with Star Wars jellies inside. They come in two types, the first is a Pentagon shape with pictures of R2 & 3PO printed around the sides and on the lid. The second is a round shape with the image of Lord Vader on the top and shots of our glorious Emperor around the edges. Both are about 3cm in diameter and about 2 cms high. Available from K Mart.

Star Wars lolly Jar -- A clear plastic lolly jar that stands about 6cm high and is topped with very nice sculpts of C3PO & R2-D2.These jars have the words "Star Wars Lolly Jar" on the front and come filled with your choice of sweets. Available from Target.

Episode 1 Update.: -- An all new Lolly Jar (Candy Jar) has been released.
This one has a 3D sculpt of Darth Maul on the top. It is a very good likeness and is available only from Target.

Episode 1 Update.: -- Toys "R" Us in Melbourne have a new line...Star Wars Episode 1 Jellies.
These are soft (almost water) colored jellies shaped like your favourite characters from TPM.
They come six to a pack and cost around $5.00AUS.

Star Wars Chocolates -- A collection of chocolate characters including, Vader, R2 and a Stormtrooper, they come complete with a squad of chocolate TIE fighters to protect the goodies. Nicely presented in a cardboard Star Wars box, they are available from K- Mart & Target.

Star Wars Advent Calendar -- Released just before Christmas 1997 this is just what it sounds like. A Star Wars advent calendar to help you count down the days to Christmas.Containing 24 chocolate treats (that don't look like Star Wars characters) it's a must to count in the Imperial new year. Available from Target stores last November/December 1997. (Hopefully this year too).
